2012 Annual Convention
"Rediscovering Compassion"
April 11-14, 2012

Planning is underway for an exciting Convention in 2012 -- two full-day workshops "sandwiching" two full days of extraordinary plenary speakers and a wide variety of breakout sessions on the theme of "Rediscovering Compassion" as well as other topics of timely interest to Wisconsin psychologists.

On April 11, Drs. Don Ferguson and Mark Marnocha will present a workshop combining research, clinical approaches and experiential learning.  April 12 and 13 will feature plenary sessions by Dr. Richie Davidson on the Compassion Project and compassion-based meditation and Dr. Susan McFadden on holistic, humanistic and community-based care for persons with dementia. Then, on April 14, Dr. James Marchman of the University of Iowa will provide a workshop on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an innovative 3rd generation CBT approach.

Add your area of interest and expertise to the mix of breakout sessions!
