2014 Annual Convention
Remodeling Our Homes
April 9-12, 2014
Healthcare change is everywhere. In patient-centered medical homes, chronic disease management, primary care psychology, new technologies with new risks or more buildings with less staff. We are faced with alphabet overload -- ACA, ACO, EMR, PQRS ... OMG!
Remodeling might mean a coat of paint or knocking out walls and raising a new roof. We need to acquire tools and skills, gain a better sense of the risks and challenges, seek counsel for those in the midst of their own remodels, and remember the values that guide our work.
Beginning with a workshop on forensic practice and closing with a workshop on cyberbullying, the 2014 Convention features keynotes, breakouts and other events that will educate, challenge and amuse attendees. As always, a welcoming WPA climate will bring us back to what is foundational in our professional work and personal ideals.
We look forward to seeing you in April in Middleton!
